Finding the stones
Every piece starts with the stones. Colour, sheen and small inclusions decide what it becomes.

Laying and stringing
The beads are laid out, moved around and laid out again until the row feels right. Then they are strung by hand.

Knotting and resting
The knot is secured and hidden. Before it travels, the piece rests for one night.
